100% of the proceeds from the sale of this shirt will be donated to The Vedantic Center, a community that I have been so fortunate to be able to visit, to sing with and drink tea with.

The Vedantic Center was established in 1976 by Swamini Alice Coltrane - Turiyasangitananda as a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. In 1983, The Vedantic Center was relocated onto 50 acres of sacred and serene land in the Santa Monica Mountains of Agoura, California, and eventually named Sai Anantam Ashram.

The ashram continued to serve as a sanctuary where seekers from all faiths were welcomed and experienced the sublime teachings on spiritual life. In 2017, the community was displaced when the the property was sold against the will of its inhabitants.

In November 2018, the property was destroyed by wildfire. Writing about the destruction, Michelle Coltrane quoted her mother: “there are no coincidences in life, only incidents”.
